On 27 September 2026, Epic Games released a 41-second trailer confirming that Five Nights at Freddy’s, the horror series created by Scott Cawthon, is joining Fortnite. The collaboration will begin on Thursday 1 October, at the same time as Fortnitemares, the game’s annual Halloween event. Insider Gaming and esports.gg report that the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant will appear on the map and that four outfits are planned (Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy), each with a damaged variant known as “Withered”. Epic has not yet published prices or the item shop schedule.
