On 28 September 2026, Santa Monica Studio detailed the editions of God of War Laufey on the PlayStation Blog; the game is due on PlayStation 5. Pre-orders open on Tuesday 29 September at 10am local time. Every pre-order includes the Last Wish Armor Set, the Phranque Golden Leaves Appearance and a resource pack. The Digital Deluxe Edition adds the Dark Alchemy set (armour, blade, Bow Scales and Catalyst), resources, a digital mini artbook and the official soundtrack.
The studio also showcased the Serpent Bow wielded by Faye, Kratos’s wife and Atreus’s mother. The bow has two modes: precision aiming, which charges up to five arrows into a single volley, and a more mobile hip-fire mode for spraying nearby enemies. The post announces no prices.
In France: pre-orders from 29 September at 10am Paris time, release on 16 February 2027 on PS5; price not disclosed as of 29 September.
